We offer a professionally trained and certified Black Labrador Retriever who has the ability to sniff out toxic mold with 97% accuracy, behind ceramic tile, inside walls, and in areas not available to other inspection companies using conventional sampling methods. Traditional mold detection methods can be costly and drag on for weeks. Certified mold dogs detect and pinpoint exact areas of toxic mold, which leads to lower remediation costs for homeowners and insurers. (click on Mold Dog for more information)LEVEL I "Test Only" Service For basic comparative testing of the indoor air quality, or for sampling and laboratory analysis of specific mold suspected areas and / or conditions. This service is recommended if you have specific areas that you would like tested for TOXIC MOLD. It may also be used for testing of pollens and other particles in the air. LEVEL II "Hot Spot" Inspection This is the report our clients typically use during a real estate transaction. Includes a limited visual and physical examination of the "hot spots" in a home where moisture intrusion is most commonly found. This includes the indoor plumbing fixtures, water heater, HVAC, forced air unit, sinks, tubs, toilets and appliance hook ups, as well as any interior surface as requested by the client or those areas previously identified as a potential MOLD concern by a home or termite inspector. LEVEL III "Full Inspection" This is a complete visual, physical and K-9 "Mold Dog" examination of the interior and exterior surfaces of the residence. This comprehensive inspection is limited to those areas of a property that are physically and visually accessible to the inspector, so that actual and potential points of moisture intrusion, existing moisture damage and the detection of visible mold-like growth that may affect the indoor air quality in your home or building may be detected. About the Lab that Analyzes our Samples Accurate Environmental Services uses Environmental Microbiology Laboratory, Inc. (EMLabT) exclusively and is proud to announce its new spore trap accreditation from the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) for its laboratories in San Bruno and San Diego, CA. While spore trap testing has long been the primary analysis of mold inspectors, it is a new field within AIHA's accreditation program, and EMLabT is in the first round of environmental laboratories to receive accreditation in this field. Spore trap analysis is critical when mold inspections go to court so, now that accreditation is available, it is important to be aware of which labs are accredited in this field. EMLab's mission is to become the benchmark for quality, turnaround time and service in the indoor air quality (IAQ) industry. In pursuit of our mission, every member of the EMLab team is committed to the principle of providing the highest-quality service on time, every time.
